Hill & Co Advisory (ABN 17 685 500 887) is an advisory business based in Gippsland, Victoria. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Hill & Co Advisory. You can contact us at ben@hillandcoadvisory.com.au.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your business name, revenue range and the situation you describe
• Your self-assessment answers and scores
• Financial and business documents you share for a Business Review or engagement
• Payment details, which are processed by our payment provider and not stored by us

Like most websites, our site host may also collect standard technical information such as your browser type and pages visited.

How we use it

• To show your self-assessment results and follow up about them
• To respond to enquiries and book and deliver our services
• To invoice and receive payment
• To improve our website and services

We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We won't add you to a mailing list without your agreement, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Client documents and confidentiality

Business information you share with us is treated as confidential and used only to deliver the work you've engaged us for. We may use secure software tools, including AI-assisted tools configured not to train on your data, to analyse documents. We never share your information with other clients.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the business, such as our website and booking platform, form-handling service, email and accounting software. They only receive what they need to provide their service. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We'll share information if the law requires it.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing ben@hillandcoadvisory.com.au. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
